Role of Religion in Responding to World Crises is the topic of the 11th Annual Jewish-Christian-Muslim Dialogue.  Speakers will address high profile issues such as Violence, Terrorism, Refugee Crises, Wars, Poverty, Hopelessness, Natural Disasters (earthquakes, floods and drought) and Climate Change, within the framework of their religion’s teachings.

The public is invited.  The Dialogue will feature speakers from the three religions and a lively question and answer session with the audience, followed by refreshments.  The moderator is Justice Alphonsus Faour of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador.  The Dialogue explores the connections between the three Abrahamic religions and plays an important role in building understanding and respect in our community.  

Free event, sponsored by St. John’s and Area Council of Churches, Muslim Association of Newfoundland & Labrador; Jewish Community Havura of Newfoundland & Labrador; Citizenship and Immigration Canada; Queens College, Faculty of Theology, St. John’s; and the Muslim Student Association, Memorial University.
